Plastic TV screensavers show entire videos, stretched so that they exactly fit your screen size. Their quality is exceptional: it is that of a DVD played on your computer.

Two types of files are available: Windows & Mac OS.

Windows files: executable files (.exe) that auto-install your screensaver - you can then change your screensaver when you wish by going to Windows 'start' menu, choosing 'Control Panel', then 'Appearance and Themes' and finally 'Choose a screen saver'.

Mac OS files: screensaver files (.saver) that you can save anywhere on your hard drive.

For now, all screensavers are available for Windows only, but we will soon make all of them available for Mac OS!

Plastic TV videos and screensavers can be standard or widescreen.

The standard TV ratio is 4/3 ("four thirds"). PAL and NTSC are 4/3 standards.

The widescreen TV ratio is 16/9 ("sixteen ninths"). Widescreen standards include PAL 16/9, NTSC 16/9 and the High Definition standards

Plastic TV screensavers are stretched to fit your screen size, so the video played covers your whole screen. When your screen ratio differs from the video's, the video is distorted (vertically or horizontally) to cover the entire screen. So it is preferable you choose videos that match your screen or your screensaver might look a bit odd:

With the purchase of a video (Windows Media, Quicktime or DivX) you get one free screensaver. So when you select the video format you wish to buy, select a screensaver as well and it will be free - only if you select both the video format and the screensaver before you click on 'add to cart'.

Also, there are a couple of screensavers that will always be free... that's our trial screensavers!
