VideoShapes works from real scenes that he transforms into what he calls video ambient soundscapes, with his own music composition.

Patrice Manillier, aka VideoShapes, has studied medicine and is a self made videast. With the outcome of digital video processing he went on renewing his work. Footages are from real scenes and are digitally processed up to obtain a certain level of  perception between figuration and abstraction. The concept of  video ambient soundscapes leads to poetry, dream, meditation and requires various levels of attention. The soundtracks are created separately and chosen to match the videos.
